We were simultaneously commissioned by 2B Media to develop their brand identity, as well as an identity and graphical user interface for their subsidiary mShopper, a mobile phone application. For the umbrella branding of 2B, the client requested that we create a design that used the full spectrum of color.

Working within these parameters, we developed a clean, crisp logo for 2B that utilizes a rainbow palette while evoking the union of multiple sub-brands. We designed the mShopper logo in tandem with this one, and riffing on a retro-digital look, we took a pixelated approach to that identity. We subtly carried this cube convention through in the 2B logo so that the two properties relate, but also possess clearly defined identities that stand on their own.

What's a ground wave, anyway?
A ground wave is one of the most resilient and reliable forms of communication. A low-frequency wave running along the contour of the earth, a ground wave's path is informed by the topography of the environment over which it travels while maintaining the integrity of the information it carries. At Groundwave Design Corp, we believe the design process must take a similar route.
